Privacy Policy.

ATOM Solutions is a Québec company, and we operate the atomsolutions.ca website. As such, we decide how — and why — the personal information collected here is processed. That’s what Law 25 calls the “person in charge of the processing of personal information”.

Within ATOM Solutions, responsibility for the protection of personal information rests with the company’s management. For any question about this policy or about your information, write to info@atomsolutions.ca.

We collect the bare minimum, and only in two ways:

• The contact form (the “New client” page): your name, email address, company name (optional) and message. The same applies if you email us directly.
• Audience measurement (Google Analytics 4), only if you accept it in the consent banner: pages viewed, time spent, device and browser type, and an approximate region. Your IP address is anonymized.

That’s all. No advertising pixels, no retargeting, no profiling.

• To answer you. We process your message and get back to you with real ideas — we commit to replying within 24 business hours.
• To improve the site. Understanding which pages are read, and which aren’t, helps us make the content more useful. This measurement only happens with your consent.

Your information is never used for advertising. We don’t sell, rent or trade it to anyone.

The form. By sending us a message, you consent to our using your information to reply — and nothing else.

Audience measurement. No measurement script loads before you click “Accept”. Click “Decline” and nothing happens: your visit continues with no measurement at all. Your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage so we don’t have to ask on every visit — it never leaves your device.

Withdrawing your consent. For audience measurement, clear the site’s data in your browser settings: the banner will reappear on your next visit and you can refuse. To have information we already hold deleted (an email exchange, for example), write to us at info@atomsolutions.ca.

The site relies on a few carefully chosen providers:

• Cloudflare hosts the site and serves it from its global network, which includes data centres in Canada and elsewhere.
• SMTP2GO relays contact form messages to our inbox. Your message is not stored in a site database.
• Google Analytics processes audience measurement data, only after you consent.

Some of these providers may process information abroad: your data may therefore transit outside Québec. We keep such transfers to the strict minimum. As for the tools we build for our clients, those are hosted in Canada — that’s our data sovereignty commitment.

Messages received through the form or by email are kept for as long as it takes to handle your request and follow up. If we don’t end up working together, we delete them within a reasonable time. If we do become partners, we keep what our business relationship and legal obligations require — accounting, for example.

Audience measurement data is retained according to Google Analytics’ retention settings, then deleted automatically.

We keep nothing “just in case”: when information is no longer useful, we get rid of it.

• Before you choose: no measurement cookies. Zero. The site works perfectly well without them.
• After “Accept”: Google Analytics sets cookies to tell one visit from another. Their lifetime is managed by Google.
• Your choice itself is stored in your browser’s local storage — it isn’t a cookie, and nothing is transmitted to anyone.

Refusing changes nothing about your visit: every page and all content remain accessible.

Law 25 gives you concrete rights:

• Access — know whether we hold information about you, and what;
• Rectification — correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous;
• Withdrawal of consent — withdraw your agreement to the collection or use of your information;
• Deletion — ask us to erase your information, unless the law requires us to keep it.

To exercise any of these rights, write to info@atomsolutions.ca. We respond within 30 days, as the law requires — and we won’t charge you for it.

We’d much rather settle any concern directly with you — write to us first. But if you believe we’re not respecting your rights, you may file a complaint with the body that oversees the protection of personal information in Québec:
